Tom Cruise Does All of His Own Stunts is a daring, tragicomic exploration of masculinity, aging, charisma, risk, and action movie tropes, featuring People Magazine's 1990 Sexiest Man Alive, the original short king, the Maverick himself--Tom Cruise.  Through mime, sound effects, and a variety of physical feats, we revisit Cruise’s most iconic appearances in film, interviews, and tabloids spanning the sexiest decades of The American Century--and whatever the heck has come afterwards.  One small woman plays one small man’s exuberant arc through American pop culture and global super-stardom.

Marisol Soledad is an NYC and Philadelphia-based director, performer, writer, educator, and deviser of original works of theater for people of all ages. Her artmaking practice centers play, community building, laughter, and subversion through the creation of embodied, liberatory, surprising spaces and forms.
