The Front List - Tom Holland

The Rest is History podcast co-host discusses the lives of Roman Emperors.

Historian and co-host of The Rest is History podcast, Tom Holland, has described The Lives of the Caesars, written by Suetonius 2,000 years ago, as having “the quality of a very highbrow gossip column”. His new translation of this influential work intimately illuminates the lives of the first twelve Roman emperors, exploring their leadership strategies, policy crises, eccentricities, and even their sex scandals. An event not to be missed by anyone who thinks about the Roman Empire even infrequently.
