The Jolly Fisherman

Can two best friends hold onto their friendship when home changes forever?

From the multi-award-winning producers of the London smash-hit Brixton Calling comes a stunning new story. The story of Alan, Amir and England. Inspired by true events in London's East End, two boyhood best friends must hold tightly to their friendship as their worlds pull them further apart.

This is a play about who we are now and the places we call home. Starring Alex Hill (global Fringe-phenomenon Why I Stuck A Flare Up My Arse For England) and Jonny Khan (Olivier-nominated The Shitheads).

ENHANCED PERFORMANCE INFORMATION

A relaxed performance of The Jolly Fisherman is available.

Audience perks include: a show guide/synopsis/character list. Content notes: the show contains characters expressing anger, heavy dialogue-driven scenes, loud sound, and flashing lights. The performer goes into the audience area.

There will be a short self-description of the show in advance of the beginning of the play, starting at 12:45, provided by the writer. This self-description will inform the audience of what they can expect from the show — in general, and also in terms of the audio and visuals.
